Business Development Coordinator
Triad Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Part-Time Business Development Coordinator for our Scott Depot, WV office.
The Preferred Candidate:
- Possesses a Bachelor's degree in marketing, business, or science / engineering related field
- Posesses at least 2 years of experience in marketing / selling professional services
- Demonstrates strong organizational skills and can manage multiple tasks and assignments
- Is proactive and possesses strong interpersonal skills
- Demonstrates strong, consistent follow through
DUTIES
- Assist the RM and/or BD Leaders in researching and identifying markets for potential development opportunities
- Assist RM and/or BD Leaders in developing cross-selling and up-selling opportunities
- Assist in arranging and coordinating sales presentations
- Keep abreast of emerging markets by researching industry and related events, publications and announcements
- Effectively use and promote the CRM system (if applicable)
- Assist in preparation of proposals, statements of qualifications, presentations, and other marketing submittals
- Assist RM and/or BD Leaders in tracking significant opportunities and proposals through contract award
- Attend relevant events to build, maintain, and utilize an effective network
- Interact with BD staff and senior staff in other offices
- Assist in establishing and promoting a consistent corporate image
- Coordinate work with outside advertising vendors
- Assist and encourage senior staff with seminars, presentations, and conferences
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or Science / Engineering related field
Experience
- 2 years of experience marketing / selling professional services
Additional Requirements
- Must possess a valid driver's license
- Must possess advanced reading, writing and math skills
- Must be comfortable communicating with the public
- Must possess intermediate to advanced computer skills (MS Office required; graphics programs and CRM system preferred)
- Must be available to work in all types of indoor and outdoor environments
This position routinely operates in an office environment, using standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and fax machines. The employee is regularly required to talk or hear and is frequently is required to sit, stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms. Vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Must have the ability to frequently push, pull, lift and/or carry up to 10 pounds; occasionally up to 25 pounds. Work may routinely require the employee to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl. Work may occasionally be performed under varied weather conditions, sometimes on construction sites or in difficult terrain.
