Director of Business Development

Triad Engineering, Inc. is seeking a Director of Business Development to strategically and successfully develop effective goals and processes to drive company growth and increase profits, as well as mentor the Business Development Leaders, providing training and development to enhance their productivity.

DUTIES

• Assist the RM and BDL within each region in the development of an effective BD plan
• Develop a consistent, efficient, and effective sales process
• Assist the RM's and BDL's in the efficient implementation of the sales process and ensure consistency in its execution
• Provide periodic reports to CEO outlining the effectiveness of the sales process within each region
• Mentor and collaborate with BDL's to prioritize, plan, and execute strategic BD actions, enhancing productivity of BD efforts
• Accompany BDL's to pre-scheduled client meetings as deemed necessary
• Attend and participate in BD meetings within all regions on a regular and as-needed basis
• Assist in the onboarding and training of newly hired BDL's
• Target, track, and pursue large / special projects within Triad's entire footprint
• Collaborate with CEO in planning and consistently remaining aligned with the annual corporate BD operations budget
• Assist in developing, implementing, and ensuring consistent use of an effective BD database
• Monitor and update all company supported social media outlets, including but not limited to, LinkedIn and Facebook
• Build market share for your assigned BDL region by effectively executing the duties outlined in the BDL job description

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or Science / Engineering related field. Suitable work experience may be substituted at Triad's discretion.

Experience

• 5 years of experience marketing / selling professional services

Additional Requirements

• Must possess a valid driver's license 
• Must possess advanced reading, writing and math skills
• Must be comfortable communicating with the public
• Must possess intermediate to advanced computer skills (MS Office required; graphics programs and CRM system preferred)
• Must be available to work in all types of indoor and outdoor environments

This position routinely operates in an office environment, using standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers and fax machines.  The employee is regularly required to talk or hear and is frequently is required to sit, stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms. Vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.  Must have the ability to frequently push, pull, lift and/or carry up to 10 pounds; occasionally up to 25 pounds. Work may routinely require the employee to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl.  Work may occasionally be performed under varied weather conditions, sometimes on construction sites or in difficult terrain.  Reasonable accommodations will be made for persons with disabilities, as defined by the ADA.
