Environmental Geologist / Scientist

Triad Engineering, Inc. is seeking a full-time Environmental Geologist / Scientist for our NAME office.

The successful candidate will have some experience in project problem solving and design, and an understanding of the basics of project profitability and business development. 

DUTIES

• Assist senior personnel by performing routine aspects of professional geologic/scientific assignments
• Apply standard techniques and procedures in carrying out routine scientific investigative tasks 
• Report information obtained and observations made to more senior personnel for interpretation 
• Prepare figures, sketches and written reports in support of field data collected 
• Occasionally attend meetings with clients or government agencies 
• Assist with proposal preparation
• Assist with business development activities 
• Prospect new clients
• Strive to make each project profitable

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science or Geology

Experience

• Two (2) Years Applicable Experience

Additional Requirements

• Must possess a valid driver's license and the ability to safely operate a motor vehicle
• Must possess advanced reading, writing and math skills
• Must be comfortable communicating with the public
• Must be available to work in all types of indoor and outdoor environments

The employee may occasionally be required to push, pull, lift, and/or carry field equipment weighing up to 60 pounds. Work may routinely require the employee to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel, crouch, and/or crawl. Work is performed under all weather conditions, often on construction sites or in difficult terrain, and sometimes involves extensive standing and walking.
