Mid-Level Engineering Technician

Triad Engineering, Inc. is seeking a mid-level Engineering Technician for our Hagerstown, MD office.

• 1 4 years of formal industry experience
• Certifications in concrete required
• Certifications in soils/foundation/asphalt preferred
• SHA, DOT, DOH preferred

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• Current clean driving record & ability to maintain a clean driving record
• Comfortable performing basic computer functions; regular use of email, internet, and basic Microsoft Office applications
• Available to work in all types of indoor and outdoor environments

Primary Duties:

• Follow all corporate and job site safety procedures
• Perform routine quality control test procedures including concrete/density/nuclear moisture testing
• Complete and submit required daily reports and forms
• Limited responsibility in assisting, directing and/or training entry-level technicians
• Represent Triad in a professional and ethical manner
• Interact with job site personnel (clients) in a professional manner

Physical Demands:

This position may require long term standing and repetitive motions. Must have the ability to use your hands to handle, finger or feel; reach, climb or balance; crouch, stoop, crawl, kneel and sit. Must have the ability to see and smell; including close, distance and peripheral vision, depth vision and ability to focus. The employee will regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds; frequently lift and/or move up to 60 pounds; occasionally move 80 pounds or more (such as a loaded wheelbarrow of concrete or soil samples). Reasonable accommodations will be made for persons with disabilities, as defined by the ADA.
