Staff Cadd Technician

Triad Engineering Inc. has an immediate need for Staff CADD Technician in our Morgantown, WV office.

Land Development and/or Survey-Related CADD Experience Required

DUTIES

• Follow all corporate and job site safety procedures
• Provide CADD drafting and design support
• Perform work as assigned from sketches, verbal instructions and notes 
• Work under the direction of the Practice Leader or senior CADD technician
• May provide quantity estimates or other measurements from CADD files to staff for cost estimate purposes
• Work closely with all departments to ensure that the drawings convey the correct information
• Self-check own work for completeness, accuracy, meeting standards, fits, and stack-ups
• Work from drawings, sketches or scanned images, customer drawings, or government drawings / specifications
• Use the accepted drawing standards as guidelines
• Strive to make each project profitable

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Technical school courses in computer-aided drafting desirable

Experience 

• 1 to 3 years of Land Development and/or Survey-related CADD experience

Additional Requirements

• Must possess a valid driver's license or reliable transportation to and from the workplace
• Must have the ability to read, write, and perform basic math
• Must be comfortably communicating with the public
• Must possess basic computer skills (MS Office), including the ability to learn various types of company / client software
